REAM 2.0 is a collaborative portfolio of prints from Lou Joseph (Baltimore, MD) and Mark Rice (Philadelphia, PA.) These works pull directly from visual materials created through a long-term correspondence conducted via the United States Postal Service. It exists as an extension of the original REAM project.
These works are silkscreened using plastisol inks and measure 10.5″ x 14.”

Undressed Confections is a new series of staged photos showing the sensual side of candies that are more commonly referenced by their veil of packaging.
The Exit and the Outlet is a series of linocut prints that will range in size from intimate to epic, with subjects drawn from science-fiction, humorous personal interaction, the history of printmaking, and also the difficult process of letting go and moving on, while celebrating the impact of the past.
Japanese ukiyo-e prints and early didactic relief prints from Gothic and Renaissance book projects will influence the look and feel of the prints, telling the story in a retrospective style.

The Exit and the Outlet: How We Did the End of ACCESS
I don’t know what year it is. It doesn’t really matter.
This is the story of ACCESS…or more appropriately The End of ACCESS.
ACCESS is kind of like the internet. It acts as a window through which we used to receive, send, and store all our information.
After years of service, ACCESS grew sentient…
As one complete lumbering giant, ACCESS gently bid farewell to all its users.
Emotions ran high. Users said goodbye to their communal creation, mourning its loss through ceremony and tribute. Users were placed on a regimented program to ween themselves off ACCESS by the time of its eventual evacuation.
A deadline was mandated and a vast campaign was established to allow important information to be siphoned back into a physical form. Outdated forms of communication were researched, reaffirmed, and reintegrated as the Age of Entitlement was evaluated, documented, and finally, set aside.
